After
achieving a B.A. from Nizam College, Osmania University and his M.A.
and M.Phil. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Assistant Professor
of Political Science Himadeep Muppidi received his Ph.D. in Political
Science from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis in 1999. Before
joining Vassar College in 2000, he taught at the University of Wisconsin,
Madison and the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Dr. Muppidi's
research and teaching interests are in the areas of globalization,
critical international relations and postcolonial, particularly South
Asian, politics. His book manuscript, Producing the Global: A Critical
Constructivist Analysis of Globalization, is currently under review
at University Presses.
